Electrical properties & robustness
The adequacy of integrated circuits for a specific application highly depends on their robustness and functional limits. In order to analyze
the electrical characteristics and robustness of Integrated Circuits (IC), ELITT disposes of a complete test bench.
Electrical characteristics such as:
- current as a function of supply voltage and frequency, for IC of various classes (A, B and/ or C),
- margins of operability,
- input and output characteristics as a function of supply voltage fluctuations and temperature,
are analyzed.
Regarding ICC robustness, a complete range of services is proposed by our
laboratory for physical characterization. Specific tests include IC resistance to:
- ultraviolet light,
- x rays,
- electrostatic discharge,
- electromagnetic fields and
- latch-up phenomena
as per standards or customer specifications.
